- Christmas Concert | Assoc. Amici LVF
Christmas Concert Every year during the Christmas season, in collaboration with the Hanns Seidel Italy/Vatican Foundation and to Amka Onlus, the Association promotes a benefit concert that aims to emotionally involve members, friends and acquaintances of the association. This event, usually held in the beautiful setting of the Church of Santa Maria dell'Anima, featuring the splendid voice of soprano Monica Marziota, is distinguished by its sacred music, capable of creating an atmosphere of sharing and solidarity. Instead of paying an entrance fee, participants are invited to make a donation, the proceeds of which go to projects that support our mission. In particular, monies raised are donated to youth initiatives always in line with our values related to international relations. This concert is a time of celebration and reflection, uniting people for a common cause and strengthening ties within the community.

Coraggio! is a series of meetings focused on cross-cutting issues of great relevance, involving a network of women ready to confront and support each other. We want awareness of women's value and courage not to remain an isolated event, but to radiate into society as a whole, so that gender distinction becomes secondary to the individual. Pizza and Politics Pizza and Politics is an innovative format that aims to bring politics and current events closer to young people. Organized in collaboration with the Festival of Diplomacy and the Hanns Seidel Foundation, this project was created to engage the younger generation in an active conversation about contemporary political and social issues. The idea is to go beyond traditional formalities, creating an informal and convivial atmosphere, just like a chat among friends over pizza. The main goal of the initiative is to offer participants the opportunity to engage with experts in the field, from various spheres of the political, diplomatic and cultural landscape. During the meetings, young people can express their ideas, ask questions, and explore topical issues in an inclusive and dynamic setting. Pizza and Politics is not just an event, but an experience that aims to stimulate critical thinking, encouraging dialogue and the active participation of young people in public life. Coraggio! Violence against women A reality with many faces Thursday, 23 November, 2023 Six Senses Hotel - Rome On Nov. 23, 2023, a few days after the tragic death of Giulia Cecchettin, a meeting entitled “Violence against women: a reality with many faces” was held. Sponsored by the Associazione Amici di Luigi Vittorio Ferraris, the event featured Katharina Fuchs , an expert from the Institute of Psychology at the Pontifical Gregorian University, and Viviana Straccia , a criminal defense lawyer and founder of the Association of Jurists in Gender. The discussion delved into the many facets of a social problem that is still far from being resolved, highlighting the psychological, legal and cultural dynamics that fuel gender-based violence. During the meeting, the panelists analyzed the difficulties in preventing and combating violence against women, emphasizing the urgency of coordinated intervention between education, institutions and legislation. The reflections highlighted not only systemic gaps, but also the need for a profound cultural change that starts with the recognition of women's value and rights. It was an evening of intense discussion, dedicated to the memory of Giulia and all victims, with the goal of transforming suffering into an impulse for concrete and collective action.
